Our mission
Buyers know the melt value of your items to the cent; sellers usually do not. Gold Calculator closes that gap with a free estimate anyone can produce in under a minute, before comparing offers, selling scrap gold, or checking jewelry and coin value.
Independence
We are deliberately not a gold buyer, dealer, or broker, and we earn nothing from the number you see. The estimate has no reason to lean high to attract you or low to buy your gold cheaply.
Transparency
Every result shows the live price used, its timestamp, the karat purity ratio, and the payout percentage. The full formula is documented on the Methodology page so any estimate can be verified by hand.
